About Gary

Like so many of you, Gary is deeply concerned about government overreach. As the needs and voices of Tennesseans have gotten drowned out of the conversations at the Capitol, the use of large corporate interests to force globalist policies onto individual citizens, amid unconstitutional mandates and lockdowns, has spiraled out of control.

Knowing that freedom is secured and businesses flourish when free markets are left to rise and fall in the hands of everyday Americans, Gary decided to take action.

In 2020, Humble launched Tennessee Stands: one of the most effective advocacy organizations in the state, spearheading the fight for medical freedom and the security of individual liberties for all. A genuine leader, Gary has united Americans across the political spectrum, growing Tennessee Stands from local group of a handful of concerned citizens, to a statewide movement with over 20,000 members in under two years.

Born and raised in Louisiana, Gary married his high school sweetheart and best friend, Andrea, in 1998. A bible college graduate and a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern State University, Humble spent 15 years in full-time ministry in the areas of music and communications, before stepping away to pursue opportunities in the business community.

Gary at Desk

Always up for a challenge, he founded Grapevine Craft Brewery out of his garage in Grapevine, Texas in 2012. Humble built an 11,000 square foot microbrewery in historic downtown Grapevine, and in 2014 was named one of the fastest-growing microbreweries in the country, with national awards to boot.

Shortly after arriving in Franklin in 2017, Gary was hired as CEO of the Family Action Council of Tennessee: a policy center leading the charge for biblical family values and defending the sanctity of life. Gary left his role at FACT in 2020 to launch Tennessee Stands, and the rest is history.

Gary and Andrea feel blessed to raise their three vibrant young boys in Franklin.
