Why I'm Running
Real leadership is not measured by how many votes you’ve cast on quasi-conservative legislation. It is measured by how willing you are to put yourself on the front lines, stand for truth, and fight to protect and secure rights, regardless of how that might impact your ability to rise up the political ladder. Real leaders take arrows.
Many of our current elected representatives do not.
Working for the Family Action Council gave me first-hand exposure to our legislature. I learned quickly that our representatives are not who we think they are. They have departed from our core conservative principles, lack constitutional awareness in how they govern, and value special interests over the individual liberties of everyday Tennesseans. The same kind of politics that has led to the progressive takeover of other states is alive and well here in Tennessee.
They ask us to stand with them, but they do not stand for us. Vote Gary Humble for State Senate.
The Issues
Medical Freedom
Governments, private institutions, and employers have no right to mandate or make requirements on an individual’s medical decisions. The threat of medical tyranny from corporations and governments alike is real. It is the new climate change.
Election Integrity
Securing free and fair elections in the state of Tennessee is a task of eternal vigilance and utmost importance. Technology can never outperform the time-tested value of paper ballots, and the ability to physically count and verify the vote of every Tennessean. The solutions are simple.
Second Amendment
The right to personal security and protection of our families is one of the most sacred of which we are guaranteed. It is the right to protect ourselves from the threat of tyranny, both foreign and domestic. A government in fear of the people is a crucial underpinning in the system of checks and balances in a republic.
Fighting For Education
Gary wholly rejects influences like the 1619 Project and Critical Race Theory that seek to both rewrite history, seed division, and ignore the very foundations that make America the most exceptional nation on the earth. Tennessee’s reading and math scores are abysmal. And contrary to efforts by many political leaders, throwing more money at the problem is not the solution. Our system is failed.

Like so many of you, Gary is deeply concerned about government overreach. As the needs and voices of Tennesseans have gotten drowned out of the conversations at the Capitol, the use of large corporate interests to force globalist policies onto individual citizens, amid unconstitutional mandates and lockdowns, has spiraled out of control.
Knowing that freedom is secured and businesses flourish when free markets are left to rise and fall in the hands of everyday Americans, Gary decided to take action.
